Q: Is this tour family-friendly?

A: This tour is suitable for guests aged 7 and above. Due to safety regulations, insurance requirements, and the nature of the activities involved (including wildlife interactions and late-night travel), we are unable to accommodate children under 7 years of age. Thank you for understanding.

Q: What should I bring on the day?

A: We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a hat, sunscreen, umbrella, and a reusable water bottle. Don’t forget your camera—and a warm jacket for the Penguin Parade! Last of all, your happy self!

Q: Are meals included?

A: Meals are not included in the tour price. We will be stopping at local cafes and eateries at Cowes where you can purchase lunch or snacks of your choice.

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: The tour runs in all weather conditions unless it’s unsafe to do so. Some attractions are partially indoors or sheltered. Please dress accordingly, and bring a rain jacket or umbrella if needed.

Q: Can I upgrade my Penguin Parade ticket?

A: Yes! Subject to availability, upgrades to premium viewing options like Penguins Plus or Underground Viewing are available at an additional cost, payable at the venue.

Q: Where is pickup and drop-off?

A: We offer central Melbourne pickups at selected locations. If you’re staying outside the pickup zone, contact us—we may be able to arrange a custom pickup for a small fee.

Q: How big is the tour group?

A: We keep our groups small (max 10 guests) to ensure a more personal, comfortable, and flexible experience.

Q: Is this tour wheelchair accessible?

A: Some attractions have limited accessibility, and our vehicle has standard seating. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss your needs—we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
  • More than 7 days before booked departure time – No fee will be charged.
  • 7 days to to 48 hours before booked departure time – 25% cancellation fee will be charged.
  • 48 hours to to 24 hours before booked departure time – 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
  • Less than 24 hours before booked departure time & No Show at time of departure – 100% will be charged.

If the tour is cancelled by NJ World Travels due to weather conditions, or any other reason, then we will offer to transfer you to another suitable day or if that doesn’t suit then we will provide a full refund.
